In today’s ever-changing, chaotic world, many adults don’t get as much sleep as they need at night, which can really add up. We have all had our nights where we toss & turn and think “I’ll catch up on sleep this weekend”. Unfortunately, it isn’t that simple. You can’t “pay off” your sleep debt and the impact of sleep deprivation can stick around for a while- which is why a good night’s sleep is so important! It is no secret that sleep is something I’ve struggled with for years. I am the girl who is typically running on about 4 hours of sleep & I do “all the things” right too! No phone 45 minutes before bed, no TV on, sound machine, essential oil, etc. You name it, I’ve tried it!
Over the last couple of years, I have started to take my overall health more seriously & have found that lack of sleep truly takes a toll on you mentally. Your mental health & sleep health are two areas that are actually linked together! Taking care of one can drastically improve the other.
Well- Bowmar did it again! A product that not only helped me fall asleep but STAY asleep! The flavor is similar to a calming tea and not too overwhelming. I feel like a lot of teas with chamomile, including this product, have a little bit of an “earthy” taste after. Personally, I like it better in hot water and drink one scoop about 45 minutes before bed. In the coming weeks I have school and coaching starting back up, finishing up grad school, and finalizing my wedding details- sleep is going to be essential to me! Also, one of the side effects I hate from taking a sleep aid is the grogginess you feel the next day. Thankfully, there was none of that with this product! I took it around 10 PM and woke up at 7 AM feeling well-rested. Since taking it I have slept solidly from anywhere from 6.5 hours to 9 hours. Which is a huge improvement for me! While I have only been taking this product for a short period of time, I am hopeful that this will be the permanent game changer when it comes to sleep!
